(AP) — Authorities say a shooting at a house party in a south Chicago suburb killed one person and injured several. Calumet City Police Chief Edward Gilmore said in a news release about 100 to 150 young people were in the basement of the home early Saturday morning when a fight broke out and shots were fired.

DETROIT (AP) — Detroit police says that a man in a Santa suit is behind bars after shooting two men during a confrontation at a downtown gas station.
