Eatonville Post Office to be named for park ranger

(AP) — The U.S. Postal Service is paying tribute to National Park Ranger Margaret Anderson who was shot and killed in 2012 while doing her job at Mount Rainier National Park. Congressman Dave Reichert sponsored legislation to authorize the dedication, which will be marked with a plaque.

(AP) — The U.S. Postal Service will open a second Village Post Office in Mississippi as it continues with its new business model to cut costs. The Dennis Discount Grocery office will offer first-class mail Forever stamps, prepaid Priority Mail Flat Rate products and a mail collection box.

Postal worker admits to stealing DVDs, cash

(AP) — Federal prosecutors say a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier from Shreveport has pleaded guilty to stealing Netflix DVDs and money. An investigation by postal inspectors was launched after Netflix contacted the postal service about DVD movie losses occurring from July 2013 to October along a Bossier Parish route.
