Stayton leader pleads guilty to booster club theft
(AP) — The former civic leader and treasurer of the Stayton Booster Club charged with stealing its money in 2011 has been sentenced to repay $40,000 and serve 30 days in jail.
Morley was once a member of the City Council and school and fire boards, and he was named 2010 Stayton First Citizen.
