Schools dismiss early as Pa. prepares for snow
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) — Some schools across Pennsylvania are dismissing students early as a minor snow storm approaches.
Forecasters are calling for 1 to 3 inches across much of the state, from western Pennsylvania out through the Philadelphia region and in between. The snow is expected to start Friday afternoon and continue in some areas through Saturday morning.
School districts from western Pennsylvania to the Philadelphia area have started early dismissals in anticipation of the weather.
