RI lawmakers to discuss plans to jumpstart economy PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Members of the House of Representatives are set to gather for an economic conference at Rhode Island College in an effort to jumpstart its work this year on revitalizing the state economy. The panels will focus on small business challenges and recommendations as well as local and regional experiences, successes and solutions.
