Okla. death row inmate to ask board for clemency

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A man convicted of the rape and murder of two elderly women more than 26 years ago wants the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board to commute his death sentences. A second death row inmate, 48-year-old Johnny Dale Black, is scheduled to be executed on Dec. 17 for the January 4, 1998, stabbing death of horse trainer Bill Pogue.
