Okla. death row inmate seeks clemency from board

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — An Oklahoma death row inmate scheduled to die next month is asking the state Pardon and Parole Board for clemency. Black was convicted of first-degree murder by a Stephens County jury of the Jan. 4, 1998, stabbing death of 54-year-old horse trainer Bill Pogue of Ringling.
