Okla. balanced budget bill likely dead for session OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The sponsor of an Oklahoma bill that would call for a convention to propose a federal balanced budget amendment says the bill is likely dead for this year's legislative session. The National Conference of State Legislatures says 29 states currently have that call on the books.
