Cops: 3-year-old girl beaten to death in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (AP) — Police in New York City are investigating after a three-year-old girl who was severely beaten died and her five-year-old brother was also assaulted. A fire department spokesman says the child was rushed to a hospital in cardiac arrest where she was pronounced dead.
