Police talk man off NW Indiana highway bridge

Gary police Sgt. Thomas Decanter says the man came off the Broadway bridge over the highway Sunday night after talking with police negotiators for about an hour and 40 minutes. All eastbound and westbound lanes of I-80/94 were closed while police worked to get the man off the bridge, with traffic being diverted off the highway.
