Former presidential security chief shot to death in Haiti

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (AP) — The chief of presidential security under ousted former Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide has been shot to death in the capital. In November 2005, Jean was sentenced to three years in prison in Miami in a sentence that was substantially reduced because of his cooperation with U.S. authorities against other former officials.
