Manufacturing driving growth in Ohio DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Manufacturing is again driving Ohio's economic expansion, with more than half of the state's counties dependent on the sector, according to a newspaper analysis. The Dayton Daily News reports that more than one-third of the state's job losses were in the manufacturing sector during the recession and its aftermath.
