Manufacturing driving growth in Ohio
DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Manufacturing is again driving Ohio's economic expansion, with more than half of the state's counties dependent on the sector, according to a newspaper analysis.
The Dayton Daily News reports that more than one-third of the state's job losses were in the manufacturing sector during the recession and its aftermath.
Counties are dependent on the manufacturing industry if 20 percent or more of average annual earnings come from the sector.
