Man killed by commuter train in south Philly
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Transit authorities say a man has been struck and killed by a commuter rain in south Philadelphia.
The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority says the victim was struck at the Tasker-Morris station shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday.
A SEPTA spokeswoman said an initial review of the station surveillance camera video shows the man stumbling on the northbound platform before and as the train was arriving at the station.
The victim's name has not been released.
