Judge grants publisher's motion in Tucson shooting
(AP) — A federal judge is allowing a Tucson newspaper's publisher to intervene in a case seeking the release of investigate materials in the 2011 mass shooting that wounded former Arizona congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
Last November, Jared Lee Loughner was sentenced to seven consecutive life sentences plus 140 years for the Jan. 8, 2011 shootings that killed six people and wounded 13 including Giffords at her meet-and-greet event outside a Tucson grocery store.
