2 charged with stealing from Salvation Army bucket

(AP) — Two suburban Chicago men have been charged with stealing a Salvation Army donation bucket and leading police on a high-speed chase. In a news release, prosecutors say 48-year-old Kavin Gipson of Hillside took the donation bucket outside a food store in Lombard while the Salvation Army bell ringer was inside the store.
