Iowa man sentenced to prison for pharmacy robbery
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (AP) — A Sioux City man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for robbing a pharmacy.
Sioux City television station KTIV reports (http://bit.ly/ZiMklU) that 42-year-old Eric Evans was sentenced Thursday for one count of second-degree robbery
Police say Evans walked into Drilling Pharmacy in August with a weapon and demanded money and medication.
Court documents say he stole more than $600. No one at the pharmacy was hurt.
KTIV says Evan will have to serve at least seven years before he can be paroled.
