Hamptons owners approve $26.5M plan for lost beach
Newsday reports (http://bit.ly/WGjN6H ) owners in Bridgehampton and Sagaponack near the East end of Long Island voted Saturday to approve the plan designed to reverse 25 years of erosion.
The plan affects about 150 homes and calls for pumping more than a million cubic yards of sand from about a mile offshore onto beaches and below the shoreline.
