Forecasters warn of possible blizzard conditions as storm Friday drops up to 2 feet of snow
Just a day after the 35th anniversary of the legendary Blizzard of ‘78, another powerful snowstorm is expected to wallop Massachusetts on Friday, with up to 2 feet of wind-whipped snow expected to fall in much of the state, including the Boston area, the National Weather Service says. The forecasters issued winter storm watches for the state and blizzard watches for six counties, saying the storm could make the record books.
