Award-winning crime novelist, in a multi-million case beset with allegations of betrayal and a narrative involving multi-million-dollar homes, a helicopter and a lost Ferarri, is suing her financial management firm and the trial is taking center state in federal court in Boston. Cornwell, a 56-year-old native of Florida who has been living in Greater Boston for the last six years, is seeking damages from Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP, and its former principal, Evan H. Snapper, that could amount to more than $100 million.
