Minnesota man charged in attack on girlfriend

(AP) — Authorities have charged a Twin Cities man who they say hit his pregnant girlfriend in the head with a gun at a church homeless shelter. KMSP-TV reports (http://bit.ly/11uh99Q ) Johnathan Herring is charged with felony assault, domestic assault and making terroristic threats following the attack at Hope Lutheran Church in Jordan on Saturday.
