Carrion gets Independence Party nod for NYC mayor
NEW YORK (AP) — Former Bronx Borough President and federal housing official Adolfo Carrion Jr. has lined up the Independence Party's support for his mayoral bid.
Carrion served two terms as Bronx borough president, then held housing-related posts in the Obama administration from 2009 until last year.
