Fire crew deploys technology to learn from California blaze

(AP) — A special fire crew has deployed cameras, heat sensors and wind gauges to study the behavior of a massive California wildfire. The Fresno Bee reports (http://bit.ly/1NYheoY) that the U.S. Forest Service's Fire Behavior Assessment Team set up the equipment on Thursday in the path of a wildfire burning in the Sierra National Forest east of Fresno.

Search for hiker near California wildfire intensified
