NTSB: Pilot didn't keep speed before fatal crash

(AP) — The National Transportation Safety Board says that a pilot's failure to maintain an adequate speed after his airplane partially lost power probably caused a crash that seriously injured him and killed his passenger. Authorities say the 1940s-era single-engine plane crashed Sept. 1, 2012 in a wooded wetlands near Brighton Airport.

Man charged in Pueblo teen's death in court

(AP) — A man accused in the disappearance of a Pueblo teen is scheduled to be in court in Brighton on Friday for a hearing to determine whether he'll stand trial. Twenty-three-year-old Christopher Waide is charged with first-degree murder and sexual assault in the disappearance of 19-year-old Lea Chali Porter.
