Alaska prosecutor asks for delay in murder case

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) — Alaska is asking for six months instead of the usual 45 days to review new evidence filed in an attempt to exonerate four men convicted of the 1997 beating death of a teenager. The four were convicted in the death of 15-year-old John Hartman and are serving lengthy prison sentences.
