Detroit-area airport worker's death ruled accident

(AP) — An autopsy has determined that an airline contract employee died of multiple injuries from an accident near a bag belt loader at Detroit Metropolitan Airport in Romulus. Airport spokesman Michael Conway said last week that Gordon was getting ready to load items onto a plane bound for Dallas-Fort Worth when the accident occurred.

Airline worker hurt driving plane-tugging vehicle

(AP) — An airline worker has been seriously injured while operating a vehicle used to tug airliners into position near gates at Pittsburgh International Airport. Airport spokeswoman JoAnn Jenny hasn't identified the woman or the airline she was working for when the accident occurred just before 9 p.m. Tuesday.
