2 die, 3 critically hurt in Long Island car crash
MERRICK, N.Y. (AP) — A car carrying five people on a Long Island parkway careened out of control and struck several trees, killing two passengers and critically injuring three others.
Police say the 30-year-old driver, Kervens Boutin, of Hempstead, and another passenger, 19-year-old Marlo Cabrera, of the Bronx, were taken to Nassau University Medical Center with critical injuries.
