Tesla Drops On Earnings Report But Profit Seen In Q1
Tesla Motors missed bottom-line expectations in its fourth-quarter 2012 earnings report late Wednesday, but the the luxury electric-car maker said it expects to turn a profit earlier than expected. Tesla (TSLA) stock was down 7% in after-hours trading after it released its results, following a nearly 2% slip in the regular session. The company should be "slightly profitable" in the current quarter amid higher gross profit margins and lower R&D
