Romero can't make it two frames
Blue Jays starting pitcher Ricky Romero didn't make it out of the second inning during his spring debut Tuesday against the Twins. Romero had an efficient 1-2-3 first inning, but he ran into trouble in the second. Justin Morneau led off with a single to left field and Romero retired the next two hitters before Joe Benson clubbed a two-run homer. Romero walked the next batter and was then lifted for a reliever. Romero was charged with two runs on two hits and one walk in 1 2/3 innings. He didn't record a strikeout.
