Prado inked to long-term deal
The Diamondbacks signed third baseman Martin Prado to a four-year deal Thursday. The contract, which covers Prado's final year of arbitration eligibility and the following three years, is worth $40 million, according to FOXSports.com. Arizona acquired Prado earlier this month as part of the seven-player swap with the Braves that sent outfielder Justin Upton to Atlanta.
