Montgomerie wins European Senior Tour event

WOBURN, England — Colin Montgomerie successfully defended his Travis Perkins Senior Masters title Sunday, winning the European Senior Tour event by a tournament-record 10 strokes.The 51-year-old Montgomerie closed with a 5-under 67 on Woburn's Duke's Course to finish at 12-under 204, also a tournament record. The Scot earned $74,030 to push his tour-record season total to $662,985.
