Nationals pitcher Christian Garcia said Friday that Washington still has not expressed to him what his role will be with the team in 2013, reports CSN Washington. There has been talk of Washington converting Garcia into a starter and Nats manager Davey Johnson had said Garcia would be next in line to start if someone in the rotation gets injured. "I have no idea. Wherever they want to put me I am okay with it," Garcia said. "I am going to go in there and compete for a job, and do the best I can."
