Attendance, TV ratings jump as NHL returns after lockout
The NHL and its fans have kissed and made up. Less than two weeks after the end of an ugly, 119-day lockout, the league's once-angry fans are embracing the NHL as if all is forgiven. The first 15 games were sellouts, and the crowd size was up in eight markets.
