These Members Of Congress Are Still Up To Their Ears In Student Loan Debt
Congress will decide whether to extend the current low rate for federal student loans sometime later this year, and according to a new report from Russ Choma at the Center for Responsive Politics many members have firsthand knowledge of crippling student debt. Choma found that — taken as a whole — Congress owes somewhere between $1.8 million and $4.3 million in student loans.
