UPDATE: The Texas A&M Student Senate Wednesday night voted 33-30 in favor of the “Religious Funding Exemption Bill”, which started out as “The GLBT Funding Opt-Out Bill”. The language was widened to not target a specific group, the bill’s author said. On the other side of things, the University of Houston’s Student Government Association unanimously passed a resolution Wednesday night in opposition to state Rep.
