As part of a mission dubbed "Operation Desert Dogs," 15 mostly large-breed dogs were rescued from dangerous and squalid conditions in a Palm Springs home Tuesday morning. Animal Rescue Corps and the City of Palm Springs teamed up to remove mostly labrador and shepherd mixes, all approximately two to four years of age, from the single-family home in the Gateway Estates neighborhood.
