Forest Whitaker Gets Apology After Frisking Mishap
Forest Whitaker got an apology Tuesday from the owner of a deli where the actor was falsely accused of shoplifting.
Anthony Galofaro is the owner of Milano Market, a grocery store near Columbia University in New York City. He told TMZ that he regretted the fact that the Oscar winner was frisked by an employ, and claims the store is not racist. He says the employee was "just doing his job," and is "no longer here with us" at the store. He did not specify whether the employee had been fired or not, but that he regretted his "mistake."
