Passive smoking adds three years to the age of a child’s arteries

Exposure to passive smoking in childhood causes irreversible damage to the structure of children’s arteries, according to a study by University of Tasmania and Finnish researchers published today (Wednesday, 4 March) in the European Heart Journal.
