How BPA May Disrupt Brain Development

The chemical, found in many plastic products, can interfere with normal brain development. In a study published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, researchers report that bisphenol A (BPA) may suppress genes that are critical to early development of the central nervous system, which may predispose both animals and humans to neurodevelopmental disorders.
