Boy, 2, injured in Sandy, still battles for life
A two-year-old Georgia boy, who has been hospitalized since he was critically injured during Superstorm Sandy, has now been fighting potentially life-threatening meningitis and other infections. Tripp Halstead was playing in his daycare center's playground in Winder on October 29 when Sandy's whipping winds brought down a large branch on his head.
