AHA: Dopamine No Help for Kidneys in AHF

DALLAS (MedPage Today) -- Boosting kidney function in acute heart failure by adding low-dose dopamine to diuretic therapy, a strategy used in 5% to 15% of patients treated in U.S. or European hospitals, did not increase urine production, researchers reported here.
