The National's 'Hunger Games' Track Title Was 'Too Dark' For The Movie

The National submitted a song for the "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" soundtrack with the title "Dying Is Easy," but the folks behind the sure-to-be massive sequel felt the name was too grim. The song name has since been changed to "Lean." "The song almost didn't make it because it was too dark for the 'Hunger Games' soundtrack, which I thought was sort of funny because it's about killing kids," singer Matt Berninger told NME.
