Beastie Boys' lawyers fight to keep $1.7M awarded in Monster suit

Lawyers for the Beastie Boys were back in court Friday to fight for their right to keep the $1.7 million they were awarded in a suit against Monster Energy Drinks. The legendary rap group won the sum last summer in their Manhattan Federal Court lawsuit after the beverage company used their songs in an ad without permission.
