Time Warner Earnings Up On Fees, HBO Subscribers
A rising number of HBO subscribers, and higher fees from cable and satellite service providers helped Time Warner (TWX) post better-than-expected fourth-quarter profit. The media giant also warmed investors with an 11% hike in its quarterly dividend and a new $4 billion share repurchase program.
