Shale Oil Boom Boosts Phillips 66, Marathon Earnings
Phillips 66 (PSX) and Marathon Petroleum Corp.'s (MPC) reported fourth-quarter earnings above analyst estimates early Wednesday as the boom in cheap domestic crude oil helped boost production. Phillips 66 said Q4 EPS was $2.06, beating analyst estimates of $1.68.
