SBA streamlines loan requirements for small businesses
The U.S. Small Business Administration is proposing changes to streamline its loan application process to ease access to borrowers.
The idea is to have less paperwork and an expanded access to capital so small business owners can create jobs, SBA Administrator Karen Mills, who is stepping down, stated in a news release.
As previously reported, SBA-backed lending in South Florida increased by $48.1 million, reaching $395.1 million for the fiscal year ended Sept. 30.
