Oil futures ends lower after two-session climb
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Oil futures fell Wednesday, pulling back after a two-session climb as traders assessed conflicting data on U.S. petroleum supplies and forecasts on the outlook for global oil demand. March crude fell 50 cents, or 0.5%, to settle at $97.01 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, giving back Tuesday's gain of 48 cents.
