New home sales dip, but up for 2012
The Commerce Department said Friday that new-home sales fell 7.3 percent last month to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 369,000.
"Venture capitalists are clearly rethinking their funding strategy for the sector," said Tom Solazzo, clean-tech practice leader for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The consulting firm's figures include companies working in alternative energy, energy storage, smart grid products, advanced transportation and wastewater treatment.
