Monsanto Chairman and CEO Hugh Grant has sold 30,000 shares of the company’s stock for $3 million. Grant now holds 423,382 shares, less than 1 percent of the company’s outstanding stock, according to Barron’s Online, which reported the Jan. 22 sale. Grant also holds 120,000 shares through a trust and 6,689 shares through a 401(k). The sale is Grant’s first open-market sale.
