Hong Kong stocks supported by HSBC, energy shares
HONG KONG (MarketWatch) -- Hong Kong stocks moved in a narrow range early Friday, with gains for heavyweight HSBC Holdings PLC and energy shares after a broadly higher finish on Wall Street supporting the market even as insurers and mobile-service providers declined. The Hang Seng Index rose 0.1% to 23,627.23 and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index slipped 0.1% to 12,077.15.
