Apple leads tech gains; Agilent slumps
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) - Shares of Apple Inc. edged higher to $467.85 to propel the tech sector to modest gains on Friday. Hedge fund manager David Einhorn disclosed Thursday in a regulatory filing that he had raised his stake in the tech giant to 1.3 million shares. The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 4 points, or 0.1%, to 3,199. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index was also up a fraction.
